Windward Passage Hotel, Charlotte Amalie

My experience at this hotel was far from what I expected. While the staff was somewhat pleasant, the issues with cleanliness are hard to overlook. The location is pretty good being centrally located, but the state of the hotel needs serious attention. Additionally, the noise from late-night pool parties made for a sleepless night.

My stay at the hotel was unfortunately rather unpleasant. The location is pretty central in downtown, making it easy to explore restaurants and shops, but the condition of the hotel really brought my experience down. The rooms smelled of mildew and the gym was completely unusable due to the odor. While some staff members were friendly, the service was inconsistent, and several amenities were either closed or did not function as expected. Overall, I was left disappointed and have no plans to return.

I recently stayed at the hotel and had a pretty mixed experience. The pool area and outdoor bar were highlights, with a good atmosphere and tasty food, thanks to the excellent bartender.
